More Assets Space!
Scratch project's asset space is VERY VERY small… This makes it really annoying and limiting to advanced scratchers who are making large and complex projects.
Here's what I propose, to give more asset space to scratchers who need it:
When having reached the data limit, a user can press a “contact scratch team” button, which will send a message similar to a report, asking for more space. The scratch team will then check out the project, and decide whether the project deserves more, or even unlimited space.
I hope you like my idea, and thanks for reading!

The project size check only happens client side when media is added to the project, and it is possible to manually modify a .sb2 file such that it is larger than 50 MB, as long as each asset is under 10 MB. I've managed to upload projects that are over 200 MB…

Yes please… Maybe 100MB Space? Also if Scratch uploaded with the .tar.xz format it would make projects have less assets…

projects that are over 200 MB…This. I've made huge projects in the offline. They should fix that. Ok, I see your point. Who wouldn't want to put the entire Star Wars trilogy in one project?Fixed.projects that are over 200 MB…This. I've made huge projects in the offline. If they don't want us to do the Star Wars thing, then they fix this server side as well. However, I'm sure they are perfectly aware of it, because they pore over every single one of your projects, and haven't fixed it.
If it broke, and they haven't fixed it, they are obv fine with it. duh
