I heard many people complaining about this not working (i was one of those). Does anyone know why this happens (check it out on my project, go into see inside and dig downwards, then walk into a wall: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/113519383/)

Where is your walk script? in which project?

Sorry, typo. I meant to say “your walk script”. You have custom block named walk, and it does good slope detection. But your “touching ground” script doesn't. Let me remix it for you

Part of your problem I found was that the slope parameter was never being met. It never got to 3. It would get to 1 but he'd already have jumped up on the block. So I lowered the parameter to slope > .1 so that Scratch had time to calculate his was touching and I also ran that block to run without screen refresh.

Also, added a hitbox. Hope this helps. Good luck

Yup. I just looked at the tutorial and set slope back to 3 for this project and it worked. He didn't have that block running without screen refresh.

and splitting the main loop into 2 doesn't help.
