Okay, so at my school, every teacher has AdBlock Plus*. Forget students' rights to not get ad-stormed. And when the only site other than google that isn't blocked is ad-infested (it's Coolmath), you are really making things ridiculous. In science one day, we were reading articles about epidemics and about 3-5 video ads came up at once. It was the funniest thing that ever happened in science. When doing research and encountering ads, I always install AdBlock if necessary. Usually I sit at the same computer in the computer lab, but in the occasion that my friends take that seat, I have AdBlock on a few others nearby. Eventually, I'm hoping that AdBlock will reach every computer.

I hope the teachers get their AdBlock “Plus”s upgraded. ABP is a total piece of TRASH.

I have AdBlock Plus, and ever since I got it, I have never seen a single ad. Do you know if the teachers got it from the Chrome webstore or from the official AdBlock website?

I don't know. It really depends - I always thought ABP worked because when I had it, I used AdBlock alongside it. I'm thinking some of the ads may have been the actual article being weird because they were like a video that went along with them, but the way they stormed my science teacher's computer seemed very ad-like. And this still doesn't explain the fact that we couldn't watch a single video without a cheezit/pringle ad coming before it.

It is usually not a good idea to run multiple adblockers side by side. It slows down your browser.

I recommend uBlock Origin. It's fast, lightweight, and comes with extra advanced features.

My teacher doesn't want to follow the HTML5 standard. For one, in our webpages, there is no <!DOCTYPE HTML>. But it gets worse…
We use <font> tags for text and <p> tags for putting a space in the webpage. Which is great since font tags have been deprecated since HTML4 (HTML4 was released in the late 1990s too) and are now obsolete. Why can't you just use <p> or <h1>, <h2>… instead, and use CSS to style it? Or you can just use inline styling in the element if you haven't learnt CSS yet.

Anyway, because I'm experienced at HTML, the only thing I learnt was inlind styling with an obsolete HTML tag.

Turn the option for allowing them off.

I remember when people were max-voluming their idiotic songs on their computers so that the entire room could hear their favorite music.

So I did the same to a physics lecture I was watching about complicated concepts that most 8th-graders wouldn't understand.

Everyone (except the teacher) demanded that I turn the lecture off. I refused.

so i pranked my whole school on the computers

i opened a text file and in it, i typed ‘trolololol’
i named it ‘Minecraft.exe’
i set the icon the the minecraft icon
i put it in the shared folder
now people will open it thinking it's minecraft
they get trolled

Oh godz. That's what people do in like my science class. They spam their stupid “IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PALACE!” songs, or bang on the tables while screaming “STOP IT WEASEL! STOP IT! OH, STOP IT WEASEL!” and how they fur their weasels. Apparently this means they hug their weasels or dogs, although it sounds like something completely different to me(I won't elaborate so I don't get the SS-err, Admins on my back), and it's SO annoying. And it's an advanced class, too.

Had to turn my Macbook in today. Found out there was a dent on the side (thankfully covered by warranty), but c'mon…how?! I kept it in the case all year!

So today in my shop class we were supposed to take finals

Instead we watched videos about olympic records and tornadoes. Obviously no one paid attention, especially since the teacher was just putting it on to entertain anyone that wanted to watch it.
We played on the computers.
One minute later, this kid got on slither.io which is blocked. Turns out someone figured out how to hack it. (And all those Unblocked Games sites didn't work since they sourced back to the slither website.)
Yet another kid claimed that typing “sssssssssssssssssssssddddddddddddddd” on your start menu was how it worked, but there was no file of the sort - duh.

Still trying to figure it out.
