Remind Newer Scratchers to read the stickies first
I think that when you first visit a forum (so suggestions/requests/announcements) it pops up a message (similar to the “You've become a Scratcher” message) reminding you that your idea/question is probably already in a stickied topic, so read those first.
Note: this message will only show up the very first time you visit that forum. Afterwards, no message.
I think that this would stop a lot of duplicate posts and, especially in the QAS forum, a lot of questions that have been answered in a stickied topic.
The message could just point out where the stickied topics are, and remind users that whenever they want to create a new topic, they should read through the stickies first.

Writing support on your own topic is spammy and misleading. And there is no reason to do it if the last post was less than a day old. I was going to write support, but omnipotentpotato makes me write bump instead LOL
Support.

If you support, it should be +1. If you don't, it should be +0, not -1. If you half-support, it should be +1/2 or +0.5, not +0. You can't subtract from the supporters.

Support. Would cut down on the number of threads that end in a link to the stickies significantly.

Instead it could be a small orange alert thing at the top of the page below the header that can't be dismissed until Scratcher rank (similar to the unconfirmed email message), but support

This is my signature. It appears below all my posts. Discuss it on my profile, not the forums. Here's how to make your own.

How about until you are a scratcher and have posted 5 times in that forums. Instead it could be a small orange alert thing at the top of the page below the header that can't be dismissed until Scratcher rank (similar to the unconfirmed email message), but support

This would be annoying, but I see your point. Instead it could be a small orange alert thing at the top of the page below the header that can't be dismissed until Scratcher rank (similar to the unconfirmed email message), but support
Support for a mandatory non-skippable walkthrough (unless confirmed by old account as a “remake”.)
Let me explain that last part: You would need confirmation from both accounts. Simple.

Has anyone used Discourse? It has a little reminder like this (using @comp09's forums as an example):
I think scratch could implement something like that.
