I have a few questions for you about music.

1. What is good music to do your homework to? So far my favorite is Kalimba - Mr. Scruff.
2. What is good dramatic music? So far my favorite is Requiem For a Dream.
3. What is good inspirational music or pump-up music? So far my favorite is Rocky I training music.

Homework? Well, I can do homework to a lot of stuff. Some of my favourite HW albums include Three Cheers for Disappointment by the Arrogant Sons of ——-, —- Skippy by Lemon Demon, Earthquake Glue by Guided by Voices, and Classic Creeps by Fishboy. I can't do homework with something overly compressed, because the low dynamic range hurts my head

Dramatic? Uhh… not sure. I listen to a lot of angry music, like Nine Inch Nails' The Fragile, but I wouldn't call it dramatic really. So I'm not sure.

Inspirational? Something with a good melody or is just a great pop song otherwise. “Near Wild Heaven” by R.E.M., “On Your Skin” by Dictionary Attack, “Such Great Heights” by the Postal Service, and “House” by Ben Folds Five are some favourites of mine.

Any song by Two Steps From Hell would work for all those categories.

Metallica or Queen usually combine for both

1. Good homework music?

I'd say anything by Kraftwerk or The M Machine, something that is progressive and encouraging.

2. Dramatic music?

“Exodus” // Phuture Doom Listen to it all the way through, it is amazing.

3. Inspirational music?

It's a hard one, but I'd have to say “Technicolour” // Madeon because it's really inspirational and climatic.
