Discuss Thanksgiving! What are you doing for Thanksgiving? What are you making for thanksgiving? Me? I'm just gonna have it with my family and nom on some rolls

My dad is a firefighter, and he's at work on thanksgiving. So my family is going to eat at the fire station.

Thanksgiving is where on the last Thursday of November, we have a big meal like the Pilgrims did when they reached America (i think) and we eat a big feast, usually around 3:00 or 4:00 pm. Common thanksgiving foods are turkey,stuffing,pumpkin pie, rolls, cranberry sauce, and a few others.

Basically, thanksgiving is a holiday where you stuff yourself with as much food as you possibly can and then you go sit on the couch and watch football.

My cobbled together understanding of Thanksgiving is that it's basically an early Christmas dinner.

Personally I'm going to be moving from Cardiff to Cambridge around then. So, yeah…

What we're interested in is that the day after Thanksgiving is a day where everyone goes to get pizza ^^

I'm Jewish and Thanksgiving happens to overlap with Hanukkah this year. Thanksgivingkah FTW!

FUN FACT: If my birthday is on a Thursday, then my birthday is on the same day as Thanksgiving.

That's pretty awesome! Once, my friend's birthday was on Easter, but that's a whole different holiday.

For thanksgiving me and my family go to my grandma and grandpa's house with about 50 other cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. and have a thanksgiving dinner!
