I recently found out about a programming language called Alice! It works on 3D Graphics, including X, Y, and now Z!

I like this program, for it reminds me of writing code (I don't write code, but I know what it looks like from other things)

Don't worry, I will NOT be leaving Scratch anytime soon, but I will just be working on this

I remember when there was BIG fuss about it last year. They said it would totally ruin Scratch, and it didn't, so…
Alice 1.0 was released in 1999, and Scratch 0.1 was from around 03, which is quite interesting.

Alice isn't good at all. The thing I found more annoying was all the movements in it, yet it was nearly impossible to make a controllable game. They had tons of moves like jump, hug, sit, yet they were missing all the ones actually NEEDED, such as walk, move forward, and it had no collision detection.

Not to mention lack of custom objects/sprites.

Well quoting many people here, I learned that it is fun and cool!
I know, it doesn't take a lot of effort to get smooth movement band all, but you can make many things, such as, flying, airplanes in space, etc!

When I used it, I could make my own collision detection I had everything that you said you did not have. What version do you have?

Just wanted to try it out, but it doesn't download Argh, why is my internet so bad^^

It takes up loads of space, takes too long to download and IS NOT WORTH IT.

yeah I agree alice is HORRID

I tried it once and didn't really like it. There are so many better programming languages out there that it seems like a waste of time.

I learnt Python, for Blender, because of Alice.
It's alright, though as restrictive as Scratch.
