I know it's a bit of a forum sin to start to threads in the same day. But I'm an evil man.

This is the soundtrack I made for a film concept I am working on that goes under the title “Ferox Illusio”. I'll just quote what I said about it on my DeviantArt account. “It will involve a detective who is assigned to investigate the disappearances of the local policemen (and ordinary civilians also), and how it all links to a small cult that hides in a boarding house.” The concept is a lot more surreal than it sounds. Some of the weirder scenes of it include flying hands made of stone, branches that turn into whips, humans who could turn into panthers, an invisible figure that attacks people in their sleep, and the villain behind all of it is a fairy that is always seen wearing a demon mask.
All the songs are now up.
The cover art seen in all of them is actually meant to be the intro of the film.
*Note, everything was played on keyboard, and that includes the drums, which is a lot harder than it sounds.*

Rise (Complete Revision)
This is a complete remake of an older song I did, replayed and everything. Not sped up, not changed in tempo. Everything was played again. It even has a cowbell now for all those people who mindlessly quote Saturday Night Live. It's meant to be the theme to the major villain.
Detective's Theme
It's quite obvious what this is judging by the title. It's in a way a Funk track, but it's also lounge music in a way.
Hand, Head, Hand
This meant to be played during any scene which involves ritualistic sacrifice.
Fantasma
This is meant to be a semi major song in the film. It plays during most of the scenes involving the antagonist attacking someone. (And yes, Fantasma is meant to be spelt like that, it's the name to one of the characters.)
Supermarket Tripe
WARNING
Do not listen to this song first, this song is meant to be terrible,
Don't let the absolutely horrid intro (and by horrid I don't mean badly played) frighten you away (it's meant to sound stupid), there's some good atmospheric buildup stuff at the very ending. Credit goes to my dad who made the intro. The beginning part is meant to be something that always pops up on radios in the film, and the full version with the spooky ending plays in one of the shock scenes.
Illusio
This is my best song from the soundtrack in my opinion. Pure atmosphere. This is meant to be the main horror theme for the film.
Blood Red Sky
This is another one I really like. It's pretty ominous in the beginning and ends on a similar note.
Evacuate!
This is meant to play during the big Climax.

I agree that it's hard to play everything on the keyboard like this, but I really think you need to find a better medium. the time is suffering for it

It was done in Pro Tools using a Roland JV-1080 synth. I think that's the best setup I can get. This is also my first set of songs that really uses drums that follow a specific timing. I'm a bit better at atmosphere tracks that are more likely meant to build up a tone of some type (sort of like most of the score to the late 70's film Shock, I'll link a reference of what I mean, Shock's soundtrack). I do use the same samples frequently (even thought the setup actually has over a 1,000 sounds).

Anyway, I had a listen to these songs. Didn't really expect them to be so MIDI-sounding, which kinda killed the whole horror thing.

Ironically, I think my favorite one was “Supermarket Tripe”. I like how it starts out happy and ends up…well…not. The contrast between the two parts really made it stand out among the others.
