NEW SONG: Rise by KingDragon
This one took a while to work on. An entire night to be exact. And now it's finally up. The drums are kind of messy at some points. But I still really like how it turned out. But now, if you excuse me, I'm going to pass out.

Thanks. It's kind of disheartening to have “it's painful.” as the end of the first written response to it. I am quite aware of the mistakes I made during the playing of it. No loops where used at all during it, so I did slip here and there.It's pretty good after 0:30, TBHYour username is the complete opposite of your post. everything is terribly out of sync, it's painful.

Yeah, I understand. I can't make music to save my life, to be honest, so the fact that you make your own is impressive by itself.Thanks. And criticism's pretty hard to swallow; I know from experience. :P My best advice would be to accept their opinion as it is, but don't take it personally, you know?

Interesting song. It needs to be less repetitive imo though.

Yeah, that feedback is pretty harsh and not very specific. To quote directly from the Community Guidelines:Your username is the complete opposite of your post. everything is terribly out of sync, it's painful.
Be constructive. When commenting on other’s projects, say something you like about it and offer suggestions.
Feedback is an important part of the creative process - but there should be encouragement and specific recommendations. Otherwise it's too easy to see it as just a put-down.

I agree with generosity in that it's very out of sync and thus unpleasing to hear. The fact you played it all yourself (right?) is a great thing, but correcting some mistakes (you'll always make some when recording) afterwards won't hurt. It could also be that the drum part itself doesn't fit the melody - a composition problem.
You came up with some interesting melodies though c:
One whole night isn't really a long time to spend working on a track, nor is it a good idea to work literally all night, since you'll often end up tired and thus, miss some big mistakes. For serious productions you'll usually work in short sessions over many days.

oh wait, you recorded this? I thought it was electronically produced & therefore easier to fix, sorry! =^{

Before this song is left behind as a failed mission. I must say this. It was made to be sped up by 4%. It may sound very minor (possibly ridiculous even), but it makes it sound A LOT better. Give it one more chance.

Still off-sync, but better nevertheless - it was clearly meant to be played like that. Sounds like some desert level VGM.
