Hello, Scratchers! I'm making a website, right now I'm just making the HTML, CSS, js, etc codes. Want to test it? Go to www.shiny-red-genesect.hostei.com!
I also get this a lot from my friends outside of Scratch: “How do you make a website?” Since I'm not allowed to have a youtube account, I'll just post how, here. (if thats OK with the ST)

1) Go to www.000webhost.com.
2) Sign up, and activate your email.
3) Go to the control panel, and go to something like ‘FTP settings’
4) copy down the stuff (yes, all of it),
5) download FileZilla Client (make sure it's the client)
6) open filezilla, and enter your settings that you copied down from step 4.
7) navigate on the left to your HTML document (make sure it's called index.html)
8) right click on the index.html file, and hit ‘upload’ or something similar.
9) disconnect.
10) navigate to your website!

When I get it up and running, please visit it.

Please read first post. I'm working on the HTML right now.

I read the first post and still expected a little more when I visited the site. A test page isn't that hard to put together.

Off the top of my head:

HTML is a doddle - one can literally learn the basics in ten minutes. I know I did! Of course writing a page and creating a fully-fledged fancy site is a lot more work. I stopped bothering with it years ago and learnt to work with CMSs instead. I never really had the knack for CSS. There's still time for you lot though

I've not had any problems with it. I recommend you read up on colour theory though

The Matrix still uses colour theory both in terms of the falling code and in terms of the film itself.

I wasn't trying to say that it looked bad though, it was supposed to be a tip in order to help you picking colours later if you try to design a full site. I like using an app called “Peppermint” to help pick my colours but there's loads of tools out there.

I'll put it this way - I wish someone had given me that advice when I was first building webpages
