Discuss forums and blogging here.

The two aren't really related. Why did you lump them together?

They are related. They are the two general social aspects of alot of sites.

• Forums are a community-based venues for discussion.
  
• Blogs are somewhere between journals and editorial columns in a newspaper.
  

Many blogs allow comments on their content but that's about as far as the similarities go. I'm just not seeing why you think blogs are “general social aspects” of sites.
