How do you curate and/or add curators to your project?
On my home page, I see a section called “Projects Curated by jkl0l”.

A curator is someone the Scratch Team chooses to select projects to be on the front page. Only one person in the entire Scratch community is a curator at a time. So, you can't show your own projects on there; it's just a front page section. More can be read on the Scratch wiki page Curators. You can apply to become curator here.

How often is a new curator picked?

About every week or so. They notify the user in advanced so he or she has time to prepare his or her favorite projects.

The ST chooses someone, in this case jkl0l.
Now that jkl0l is chosen, any projects she favorites will be front paged,
