Hey! Some of ye might remember Scratchia, a pretty old Minecraft server that existed a few years ago. I am going to make a Minecraft server, and wanted to make a revival of another server. I was wondering do you guys think it would be okay if I made a Scratchia revival. The reason I chose Scatchia is because of all the good times I had there (Apart from Quazedt banning me over a breaking a mob spawner - I was a noob). My noob times, my learning times, and my expert times. So, do ye think it would be ok? (Who owned Scratchia anyway?)

I forget who made the original Pass-it-around but as far as that functioned, it was community owned. Then gbear took a version of that map and set up a server so he owned the original. Eventually that was griefed, so a new map was made and stuff and gbear was still hosting. That just went down eventually like most do. Wait a bit, and gbear began hosting one again (if Qazedt was banning you this is probably the one you went on) and that lasted a while, but he couldn't host anymore again, eventually nervesplitter began hosting from his own computer but he wasn't particularly dedicated to it and it went under. He tried to revive it later but it was more or less a complete failure and the most memorable thing about it was some forum flaming.

I remember I was on before nervesplitter began hosting and Qaz was admin. So, would it be okay to revive it?

Also, if you DO revive it, please don't do the gimmicky stuff. It should be community-based survival like it was before.

I'm tryna make it as vanilla as possible, but I will have chestshop, iconomy, lockette and some of those.

Why iconomy? Players can just barter with what they have.

Right. The server may not be a Scratchia revival, but it will be definitely Scratchia inspired.
