I just figured out how to spam a studio with projects...

Not that hard with jQuery AJAX and loops xD Probably should be patched unless we want *real* AE studios.

edit - ogod http://prntscr.com/76dmeh I'll just stop now…

Ninja'd by several months. Except my script was for legit purposes

Some manager dude deleted most projects and curators from a front-pages Beatles studio a while back, so I wrote a script to read activity logs and add them all back.

LOL looks like paddle2see sent you a “cease and desist” comment there. +1 on the “AT'er being busted by ST member for doing something harmless” meter! I think it's on 3 - kaj comments, comp09's test account, this!

I think he means this one: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/1231860/comments/#comments-12050712

@ChocolatePi - I wouldn't call it harmless. If the Scratch Team thinks it's harmful, it quite possibly is.

I agree. It does place unnecessary load on scratch servers. That's also why comp09's test account was warned.

We tried this once. We got up to a few tens of thousands of projects. It was back during the AT drama, so we even had a sentiment analyser that would detect “unhappy” or “happy” comments, and remove or add all of that user's projects, respectively.

The ST noticed. It added unnecessary bloat to their project–studio relation table! So we had to delete it. It was an interesting social experiment though

You mean AE drama, right?

Anyway, lol, I remember. MathWizz was the studio owner, right?

This is where having a local install of ScratchR2 would be helpful.

I guess you're right - the AT people kind of treat the servers as our playground, like Paddle2See once said

Maybe we should stop messing with the APIs (or at least sending bulk requests)

Ah yes, I remember that studio. The sentiment analyzer was really cool.

Thank you! Though it was basically just a simple Bayesian spam filter
I've jumped on the bandwagon of simple signatures
Nope, that's not simple enough

I'll just remove my signature altogether, then no one will have a signature simpler than mine xD

Jk, I like my huge signature

Wow. I once tried to do this but canceled it because I wanted to keep my “Alerts” section clean (I only have two alerts so far, one is a false alert, and one is a nicey-nicey not-really-an-alert-but-a-private-message) And I'm glad I did. I should experiment with “useful” stuff instead.. Like MAPU's nice example XD
