I haven’t watched mlp in years but I’ve thought about watching it again (it’s all over my fyp and the nostalgia is starting to kick in omg) anyways whenever I think of mlp songs I always think abt Babs Sees, the “This is what my cutie mark is telling me” song and the song from the second EQG movie where the evil girls sing their hypnotizing song the “we say jump you say how high put your hands up to the sky” (also from the same movie the one where the main characters are wearing the uniform thingies and saying smth like “we can work together to help twilight win the crown” )

Ooooh! I can't decide if I want to! I feel like it undermines everything Twilight worked so hard for, with all the pony kinds splitting up so soon.
I think my headcanon is that the new movie is canon, but:
After Twilight created the Unity Crystals (as seen in the comics) there was a looong period of peace, long enough to make the Mane Six's hard work feel worthwhile.
Opaline is lying about having defeated Twilight.
Spike is mistaken about Opaline, and pretty much everything he said about her is some kind of misunderstanding.

If you're interested in the rest of my headcanon, it includes such things as
Flurry Heart may or may not be responsible for the three pony tribes' seperation. (I have no evidence for this except that in one comic, Cadance noted that “Princess of Explosions” would be a good title for little Flurry, and I find the idea of a pastel natural-born alicorn baby bringing about the end of harmony rather amusing. Perhaps she took the throne too early and made bad decisions out of her youth…)
All the generations are historically connected. (SPOILERS) The draconequus of chaos (Scratch won't let me say his real name) got the idea to transform into Grogar from meeting G1 Grogar through an interdimensional portal opened by his chaos magic!

I am working on a mega MLP personality quiz that will tell you which generation you would belong to, what pony kind (or other species!) you would be, what colors your pony would have, what its name would be, and even a cutie mark and mane style! I will let you all know when it comes out.
