A user commented on a project that I had made.
I looked at the user's projects (out of curiosity) and I noticed they had made the same exact project, had not remixed it (so it seemed original), and not given me any credit.
I looked at the date it was last updated just to make sure that it wasn't thought of by the person on their own, and It was updated the day they commented on my project.
I asked if they could give me a little bit of credit, but I haven't gotten a reply or been acknowledged.

I was wondering if this project was against the Scratch Community Guidelines and if it would be okay to flag the project?

-a somewhat frustrated Saltine

try asking again maybe? or asking on their profile? it's possible they didn't read the comment by mistake. try seeing if they've been online recently- it could be they were on vacation, or just really busy, or something. however, if you comment lots of times and have proof that they're online, I think you should flag it.

Weird… it doesn't do that for me. If this is a bug you are experiencing, you might want to post it in the Bugs and Glitches forum.

I was thinking about making a zombie game on Scratch, but I didn't know if it was O.K., because it would have been maybe too violent. But, my idea was for the game to be a very tongue-in-cheek, comical zombie game, containing a considerable amount of blood. The game would actually be centered on the funny dialogue, all of which would be clean, having no cuss words whatsoever. Still, I'm not sure whether the game would be O.K. for Scratch. So, I made this. It's basically a project that checks whether you are of 15 years of age or older, by asking a trick question, involving multiplication. Please take a look. If I put this script at the start of my project, will it get flagged? I'm completely fine with an NFE, or something like that. I just want to showcase the humor in the game, which sort of requires zombies. If it's not O.K., then I'll just delete the Age Checker as well as cancel the zombie project. Someone please do reply…
I think the age cheaker will likely fail at cheaking. I am 11 and I know a LOT about trick questions.

It is against the community guidelines. That is called project copying and you should flag it. Remember to put a link to the original.
I have a similar situation to this one, but I remixed from the copy. I have an extreme amount of progress in the very elaborate remix, and want to keep my progress, but I don't know what will happen to my remix when I report for copying.
If it was a remix, then it would qualify as a remix and not of a copy.
The remix is mine, however, it is a remix of the project that non-remixively copied the original.
What will happen to my remix if the copied project is taken down?
nothing will happen,as it is a seperate project.

Wondering if the word “*” is considered a “bad word”. (Censored it just incase it is )

I am thinking about making an SDS project, but the song I would like to use has the word * in it. Once.

Swearing is not allowed in Scratch. That would mean that that song is not allowed.

* isn't a swear. Just… not the BEST word to use.

And I now know about NFE, but I'm still wondering if NFE is allowed in SDS…

Must be….

Can I get a response from a moderator or Scratch Team?

Edit: Should also say the instance its used in is: My house is filled with this “****”

Since it isn't directed at someone, it's not considered a swear. This is why I think NFE may be enough to cover this.

Edit Edit: He he he. Don't bother replying. (I mean, if you could, I'd be happy) I found a better, more kid friendly but still awesome song…….

if you use * your not the best person. NFE is NOT aloud in SDS.

That has happened to me too! I typed a name of a Clannad character and the “bad word detector” thought there was a problem with it.

It was this one

I was wondering if this is ok to share on scratch: I'm doing a game with wepons ( Atomic Bombs, gun's bombs) and a dark-ish storyline ( Nuclear War)

It may be marked as NFE, but I'm not 100% sure.

Is it okay to make a remix of a project but not make any changes to it? I was going to report it, but I thought I'd check before wasting anybody's time, but I couldn't find any information on remixes without any changes. All I could find was that anything is considered a remix, even small changes. But nothing about not changing anything. Should I report the project then?

Simply tell them to give credit then!

If they don't reply, flag it!
