Best DS Games

Sort of the “sister topic” to my Best Wii Games. The title is very self explanatory. My personal favorites are:

5. Pokemon SoulSilver
4. Mario Kart DS
3. Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
2. Metroid Prime: Hunters
1. Super Mario 64 DS

It's good but not for everyone.

1. Meteo
I absolute adore this game. If you don't have it, I seriously recommend you get it. It's a unique block game like Tetris with blocks cascading from space, but you arrange blocks 3-in-a-row vertically or horizontally, which shoot off onto the opposing planet. There are several planets to play on, each with their own unique gravity, block rarities, and song. Blocks that are sent to space can unlock more planets, sounds, and even combine to form rare blocks. It's no wonder this game is my absolute favorite of all DS games.
2. Elite Beat Agents
A fun game that ties song and coordination together. The buttons on the screen are tapped in sequence to the rhythm of the song, which can appear overwhelmingly at first. Once you get the hang of it, the game is really fun. Warning: harder levels can really make you rage.
3. Lego Battles
I loved LEGO blocks as a child, so this game was a huge keeper for me (and still is!). There's six factions, each with unique leaders, units, and structures. There are TONS of maps, each can have a number of mines to collect resources, trees to harvest, and special things to collect. You can even have Santa as your faction leader! :D

Soulsilver is by far my favorite Pokémon game.

I rather enjoy Zoo Keeper. I like that one can actually win (rather than playing until losing).

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Professor Layton series. I had to track down the European version though - Luke's “mockney” accent in the US one is abominable.

3DS Madden

If that counts

I've been listening to…
Ogre Battle // Queen // Queen II // Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Progressive Metal
Orion // Metallica // Master of Puppets // Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Instrumental
Damage Inc. // Metallica// Master of Puppets // Thrash Metal, Heavy Metal
Snow (Hey Oh) // Red Hot Chilli Peppers // Snow (Hey Oh) // Soft Rock, Acoustic
Who Wants To Live Forever // Queen // A Kind of Magic // Power Ballad, Soft Rock
I suggest you listen to…
For a influential playlist: Damage Inc and Orion. Both of these songs are part of the album that revolutionized heavy and thrash metal forever.

Pretty much my thoughts. I like it a lot, but it has some JRPG clichés that can be annoying.

I can't come up with a list per se, but I really like the 4th and 5th generations of pokémon,(I prefer the 5th to 4th though) Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass were fun, The World Ends With You was a pretty good game, I like Dragon Quest IX, and to top it all off, the Professor Layton series is wonderful.

If you want me to elaborate on the Pokémon games, Platinum was amazing and I like all of the 5th gen, even though I know some people hate B/W 2.

Why not heart gold? I loved it because of Typhlosion. Well he was in both wasn't he? Or should I say it?

5. New Super Mario Brothers (all the other ones seemed to go downhill after that)
4.Super Scribblenauts. (This was really cool. It made it more fun to get the golden badge thing on each level
2. Pokemon Heart Gold and Pokemon White (They were both amazing games to play and experience and the pokewalker made it even cooler. Pokemon white was great too because of all of the new pokemon.)
1. Pokemon Platinum. I don't know why but this was even better then the other 2. It was my first pokemon game so that probably helped too, but the region is probably my favorite of all of them. I also got a like 500 page guide book for it too which helped a lot because at that time I wasn't as good as navigating through the whole thing.

So yeah the Nintendo DS had some boss games on it… Until one day when my Ds just stopped working. And to top it all of my little brother threw all of the games EVERYWHERE! so now i probably have no hope at all for playing on my DS again.

I mean like amnesia and the story not being too affected by the player themself. Honestly though, it's really one of best games for avoiding obvious clichés, give it a try.

I REALLY want to play Phoenix Wright, but I need to track it down first.
And Professor Layton.

Well, I love Super Scribblenauts.
Also, Professor Layton, Okamiden, and Pokemon.

My signature was a really funny gif of Red wiggling her eyebrows, but I left it for a few months and it got taken down. Pity.

Oh, then why did you seem like you wanted to try it in the first place?
