Spending my whole life in IT, starting as a mainframe programmer and always interested in Computer Science, I see Scratch as an excellent idea.

I use Scratch for teaching my grandsons (7+8). They can consume it in their native language only. This is available in case of Scratch 2.0, and I translate them myself some useful supporting stuff.
