That the perpetually twilight sky and the dull red suns weren't Normal. There was no night, and no day. But there were other people. Not many, but there was still a few. Enough to form communities. It was almost comforting. A community. A name. A purpose. But something was wrong. Something was off. It felt like a fever dream. No one died, no one was ever gone. Immortality was almost a fact of life. But violent storms cracked open the ground and volcanoes shaped kilometers of land in irreversible ways. And they were getting more common. More people bore scars. More people grew ill from ash and poisons. You have to find a way out of this prison. Before Overclear floods and before it breaks you. _________________ Hello, hello! Welcome to Overclear! First and foremost, Overclear is HEAVILY inspired off of an older roleplay called LimboWorld ( https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/35666902/ ) by @Rokasaur that is no longer active. I bet you have a lot of questions. At least, I think you do. Here's some more information that you didn't get in the premise above! ] Overclear is a diverse and large continent housing strange, new species and biomes and weather patterns. It has a warmer climate than Earth, and has a high amount of geological activity. ] If there's no day or night, how is time measured? ~Time is measured in one of two ways: -Cycles, or, -Klemits A cycle relates to the amount of time between new individuals on Overclear, which seems to be a steady interval of one month. A Klemit is the amount of time it takes for a single human to reach senior age, and is often used for larger periods of time. (~65 yrs) ] Overclear has five different groups or communities, with each one rivalling the next in harsh disputes. This rivalry dates back to the very first individuals on Overclear, and injures many each Klemit. ] So Overclear is war-torn and has a lot of different people. So what? That's not all! The weather on Overclear tends to be...concerning. In fact, there's an entire colony known for lightning scars just because of the storms! There's also volcanoes. There's two notable ones. The first one, unnamed, sits at the eastern edge of the Ashen Plateau, and the second one is in the plains region. ] Boo-hoo. You got some gnarly weather. How terrible and tragic. Did I mention the Wither yet? You'll learn more with time, you critters. ] Well why can't we just leave Overclear? ~ Surrounded by deep underwater cliffs and a thick atmosphere, leaving Overclear is near impossible. Violent and dangerous storms rage just off the coastline and only grow more tumultuous the further from shore you get. One of the first individuals on Overclear, Dr. Dawnya, made a raft and sailed off of Overclear, only to reappear on the other side after two weeks. _________________ Rules: #1 ➺ No discrimination allowed. I don't care if it's your worst enemy or someone who tried to [off] your cat, as long as you are in this studio, do not disrespect anyone. #3 ➺ No power playing/garysues/marysues #4 ➺ Hate the character, not the scratcher. But also make it CLEAR if your character is prejudice or discriminatory before roleplaying with anyone and make sure they're comfortable with it. Yeah :D Sometimes I'll say that you can fly for X amount of time in Y place and you just kinda have to deal with it. #6 ➺ If you're willing to be a leader of a group, you have to: -Attend regular peace meetings at Meeting Place. -Appoint your second-in-command or council when the time comes -Know that the cw is atara and will be changed every few weeks. -Complete coming-of-age ceremonies #7 ➺ As long as you can keep up with your characters, you can have as many as you want.
