The cat was perched on a cloud. At first Gingerpelt was afraid, but then shocked by the memory, the memory of her long lost mother, Cindertail. Cindertail jumped off the cloud, her warm breath gave Gingerpelt Happiness. "Gingerpelt my kit, now a beautiful, independent and strong she-cat. Do not prepare for death, for you are a long way from death, instead prepare for years and years of happiness, prosperity and love, as for I am giving you access to the stars, your ancestors will outnumber all the stars that you see in the sky."
