I see that list only contains common rejected suggestions so why don't we change it to something else?

Because there's more rejected suggestions but the list doesn't add, which can confuse some people as they see “The List of Rejected Suggestions” is for every rejected suggestions .

I think adding VI is up to the discretion of the topic owner. I'm not against it, but it's not necessary.

Anyway, support, minus the VI part, but can we change “common” to “frequently”? Also since when was it okay to make suggestions about someone else's thread? I guess since a Scratch Team member made the decree that the thread should be disclaimed as not official, but like… it looks like the details of that were still up to Catscratcher07? Or rather Za-Chary before them? Why not just like… make this suggestion… on that thread?

Edit: I just realized zispe changed my normal list to be a roman numerals list. Very funny. That was not me.

As far as the name changes go for TOLORS (or whatever abbreviation you choose to use), I'm not sure a whole topic on Suggestions is a valid place to suggest it. It's not up to the Scratch Team, or anyone else except for the topic owner. I think the TOLORS topic would be the only place to really discuss this.. or their profile if they allow that.

The name change itself is also fully up to their discression, not that of anybody else, no matter how ugly anybody else thinks TIULRS looks.

Generally I agree that any suggestions about the list itself should be made in the rejected suggestions thread. The Suggestions forum is intended for suggestions for the Scratch Team to implement about the editor or website. Maybe part of the OP's suggestion is “Get Scratch Team approval on this proposed new name”?

A Scratch Team member not only made the decree that the thread should be disclaimed as not official, but they directly changed the name of the list to the current name. I was not told that I had the freedom to decide on the details of the name.

I do wonder if adding a VI could serve a purpose- such an indication would suggest an ever-changing list without a long word.

For anyone caring about the abbreviations, you can simply use TLORS. Simple as that.

And on a final note, I feel like removing the informal wouldn't do much harm- all it seems to say is that the list is sloppy and, well, informal, even if this is not the intent.

just call it “The List of Rejected Suggestions
The LORS.
It has a nice ring to it and it's simple

Don't need to over complicate it with words like ”unofficial“, ”informal“, ”another word meaning not official". Nobody is going to explode because the title doesn't say the list was made by the ST

It never did say that the list was made by the Scratch Team. However, a Scratch Team member changed the name to include the words “unofficial” and “informal.” Based on this, I would find it unwise to remove these words.
