hey there! i’m soda and i’m a self taught procrastinator, as well as an expert in the divine art of horribly (and, might i add, inefficiently) multitasking on several useless activities. on a more serious note, i’m a demi-pansexual genderfluid cambitherian who’s so super excited to be applying for allknowingkit today!

⟢ previous gens characters
i first owned asterwish of flurryclan, who lived 30+ moons (however at this point i’d really just lost track of her life.) she really just wasn’t that interesting, while i tested out gens and it’s mechanics. my next character was monarchkit, also of flurryclan, who d13d at around 2 moons since there was a safety fail, and wow did my motivation drop after that. then i applied for a spam to adopt litter and won zoeakit, who unfortunately oofed to a 50/50 sneaking out roll at 6 moons (right before they were supposed to be come an apprentice). and that’s all my characters!

i’m on every day for about an hour, and have a lot of time to respond to threads and claim new ones, so 9.5/10! perhaps 20 threads a week?

i joined gens a while ago (i think early 2026), but i’m also a part of other roleplays like LOERP (Plasma), and The New Era (Marshmallowkit). however my heart belongs to gens so i really find myself roleplaying with gens cats far more than the others. as well as those i personally have a whole load of writing experience, i roleplay outside of scratch with my friends and joined swc for the first time this july, which was great and i feel really improved my skills!

i’d love to have knowingkit (however i’ll be referring to them as allknowingkit for the rest of the application, since that is the prefix i’d like to change their name to). i’d love love love to win allknowing and think the main reason i should win is, quite simply, because of my ideas for them. i’ve been wanting to try out urchinclan for a while and allknowingkit’s design just made me so excited, and i would really be so honoured if i won.

allknowing is afab, but upon discovering lgbtq+ will transition to they/them. they stay as non-binary until mid-apprenticeship where they will switch and settle with they/xem. this may (but probably won’t) change depending on how i eventually interpret their character once i begin roleplaying.

allknowingkit will be a demi-panromantic aromantic-flux platoniromantic asexual! this means they will need to form strong emotional bonds before feeling any romantic attraction, feel attracted to other cats regardless of gender, sometimes feel aromantic but at other times don’t, find it difficult to differentiate between platonic crushes and romantic crushes and feels no sexual attraction whatsoever. this is quite open ended but i wanted it to reflect a little bit of myself with a twist, so here we go!

seemingly quiet and irrelevant, but power thrums behind their ice-cold eyes.

allknowingkit knows that words can cut deeper than claws, and that in the end, strategy wins over brute strength. that’s why each and every word of theirs is calculated, every move planned, and meticulously pieced together so that allknowing has every advantage - and the forest knows that you’d need every advantage you can get in such a brutal, cut-thr0at place like urchinclan.

allknowing knows how to tip other cats to her side. manipulation isn’t practised, it’s natural. they know which words will twist uncomfortably in others’ brains, and which will make them feel useful and content. they are a great actress, able to flick on a mask of annoyance or a veneer of pain in a few seconds. analysing other cats so utterly has led them to seem almost supernatural to other cats - while all they do is observe. allknowing often wonders why other cats don’t do the same - if only one sat and watched for a while, one would be surprised at the information that they could collect, how loudly and garishly cats flung gossip and secrets, and how all the threads connected. you thought you were alone, shunned, but tiny gossamer lines swung from cat to cat to cat, a wild mess of relations and enemies and stories and half-truths, whispered in the dim light of a moonless night, where allknowingkit’s sharp ears pricked up and filed away all the information neatly into tiny little folders. they were named allknowing for a reason, really.

while allknowing studies other cats, they also know patience is key to winning. without it, unprepared warriors rush into battle and inevitably lose, and allknowing doesn’t plan to lose - with or without preparation. however, strategy and planning is important to them, and they can wait moons on end if it means eventually they come out on top.

allknowing is also quite logical, and innovative, coming up with fresh new ideas and sneaky strategies to get what they want. they latch onto topics more quickly than other cats think possible, and train themselves harder than anyone to become better than everyone else. even if they lose a spar one day, they’d train until they could beat the other cat easily. allknowing’s mind, however, is the true spectacle. they truly enjoy the little things - the soft hum of the wind past their ears, and the smooth pebble from the rockpools they had found last moon - and these things are never forgotten, a few of them even kept in allknowing’s secret collection. it’s quite useful when they need to whip up a certain unique gift for a cat. but these little calm moments can turn into a blur of flashing claws in a matter of seconds. while it’s difficult to make allknowing mad in one go, anger stacks up like snow in leaf-bare, and if you’re that one unlucky cat who finally tips her anger over, you’d be pleading for mercy before they begin.

if you hurt one of allknowing’s loved ones, however, expect none of that. they are certainly quite vindictive and will not let you rest until the price is paid. this also makes allknowing paranoid that other cats will get them back one day, which leaves allknowing watching their back at all times. they trust no one but those who have truly earned it. they are also extremely practical, meaning they don’t waste time drifting into impossible daydreams or fantastical futures - most actions they do relate to something. even if the effect feels small, it likely relates to a bigger scheme.

allknowing isn’t magical, or mystical, or powerful. they just understand things that other cats don’t.

allknowing, true to their name, watches.

and they see everything.

⟢ physical description
the cat’s dark grey paws are spiked with black and white. stars litter their body along their tail and paws, and upon their face sits a mask of white, rimmed with sharp black triangles. at the centre of the mask rests a black circle, resembling an eye, which is positioned between their sharp ice-blue eyes, and similar patterns cover the rest of their body. white tufts of fur sprout from their ears, and they tilt their head knowingly as they stare into your eyes.
