What is Scarlet's Basement and how does it work?
It acts as an intermediary between the public information provided by Scratch and our users, adding an extra layer of filtering. The service offers a set of complementary utilities that we hope you will find useful.

Is the project associated with Scratch?
No. It is an independent tool developed by KrisbelGV. Its long-term maintenance is neither defined nor ruled out, so we recommend staying tuned for the latest updates.

Who is Scarlet?
She is my OC (original character), illustrated by me. She is not one of the characters registered by MIT, and any connection to them in their stories is purely fan fiction.

What are your privacy policies?
Scarlet's Basement keeps all data inside your browser. No tracking, no cookies, no outside analytics. You can find a detailed breakdown on the About page. If you do not agree with these policies, please discontinue use.

The site is showing an error. What should I do?
This tool was built as a personal learning project and runs on a small setup. If you encounter an error, especially during busy hours, just wait a moment and try again later. If the issue continues, feel free to post here describing what happened and I will look into it.

Why do my follower or following counts show a different number than on Scratch?
This can happen because Scratch's public API sometimes returns information that is slightly outdated. The numbers shown in Scarlet's Basement may be higher or lower than what you see on your profile at that exact moment. This is a temporary mismatch and should correct itself after some time as the data refreshes. Scarlet's Basement does not modify or store incorrect data; it simply displays what Scratch provides at the time of the request.
