Hi everyone. I'm KrisbelGV (my Scratch account is MyDigitalGarden), and I would like to share a learning project I have been building called Scarlet's Basement.

Scarlet's Basement is an independent companion tool created to improve the Scratch experience. It serves as an extra layer on top of Scratch's public data, giving users more ways to search, discover studios, check project visibility, and connect with the community.

What can you do with it

• Advanced search — Look for projects across all of Scratch or within your following, with options to filter by words to skip and multiple profiles
  Find a studio — Locate studios by project ID and optional tags
  Is it indexed — See whether a project might appear in search results
  A new view — Browse recent projects from users you follow
  User dashboard — View your Scratch profile numbers at a glance
  Dark mode — Switch between light and dark themes
  Works on any device — Fully functional on mobile and desktop
  Built from scratch — Made entirely with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  

How your data is handled
Scarlet's Basement keeps all data inside your browser. No tracking, no cookies, no outside analytics. There is a full About page that explains exactly what is kept and how it all works.

Important note
This project is not linked to or officially connected to Scratch or the Scratch Foundation in any way. It is a personal learning tool built to understand web development.

A quick update. There was a bug in Find a Studio that prevented opening a studio when clicking on its card. This has now been fixed. Everything should work as expected.
