no, scratch did NOT use AI
if you look at the scratch membership page, it looks like the first picture is AI. here's why it's not
1. if they really used AI then they would've used it for the other pictures
2. the image is probably flipped horizontally
2a. that's why the cat is on the left and the blocks are backwards
2b. that's also why the smaller keys are there, they are most likely arrow keys
3. the “weird blocks” (the teal one and the blue and orange one) are probably something like
