Did scratch team just use AI?
(i made a project about it: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1287572776/)
so basically on the OFFICAL page for scratch memberships on scratch.mit.edu/membership
THE FIRST PICTURE looks ai genorated.
the girls keyboard in the image looks sloppy and theres no consistency with the size of the keys.
and on the screen (its really blurry) i found that theres fake blocks in the code that the ai hallucinated,
i saw a green hat block (which isnt a real block)
and a half orange half blue block (Which definitley isnt real).

I was already questioning about what those blocks where, but that is probably AI generated or atleast edited.

It looks to me like that is just a photo that has been edited in photoshop (and not having anything new stitched in, just having camera effects added). The only reason it looks odd is it looks like the image has been flipped, so the Scratch editor on the computer is the other way around.

Green hat block is probably sensing.
when video motion > (10)Half blue half orange could be a variable in motion like in
move (foo) steps

“Project comments across Scratch are turned off, but don't worry, your comments are saved and will be back soon.” LOL I just realized this when I went to that project

I agree that it just looks like camera tricks as opposed to something AI generated. Note that the focus of the picture is on the girl's face, which is why the rest of the photo may look blurrier in comparison. A green hat block does exist as an extension, and the half orange/blue block is likely a variable reporter inside a motion block as stated above.
Some of the words, like “Join Scratch” in the upper left corner of the computer screen looks readable with correct spelling (albeit backwards). Since the words are legible, that further suggests to me that this is not AI generated.

I used an AI image detector tool, and it did indeed claim that all three photos of children in front of a computer screen were made with AI.
To be completely fair, image detection tools can be wrong sometimes.

It's flipped and very low resolution, so it's hard to tell. The only weird thing is the stack of blocks on the screen. It starts with a dark-green ish block like the pen extension. It could be an event block from the other extensions, but it's just a bit sketchy.

Did scratch team just use AI?
(i made a project about it: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1287572776/)i believe the Resources image was most likely human-generated because of the very small details being correct such as the windows copilot logo and even the keyboard

so maybe the scratch membership image was not ai generated
edit: the scratch membership image was not ai generated. there is a numpad in the keyboard
