Swc day 4: a good girls guide to murder book review (SPOILERS)
I havent read in ages so im just going to do ramble on about a good girls guide to murder. I love this book so much. I still need to finish the whole series so i will tell you what o thought about the first one
Whats it about
The book a good girls guide to murder is about a girl called andie bell who was allegedly brutally murdered by her own boyfriend sal singh and then dies by sui**** later on. Everyone in the town is convinced by this but pip isnt so she decided to make her EPQ (extended project qualification) about this muder case with sal's younger brother ravi. They ask everyone who knew andie bell (max Hastings, Elliott ward, jason bell, becca bell and naomi ward.)
So basically in the end it was revealed that elliot was dating her even though she only a minor at the time. It is also revealed that her killer was becca bell due to fight they had unfortunately. Elliot may have not been the killer but he was a really creepy guy and decided to kidnap this other girl called isla Reynolds and convinced her that she was andie bell, absolutely disgusting. There was also a really dark subplot about max Hastings he would spike girls drinks with rohy**** at parties and then sa them. He also had this instagram account with a really weird name. I wont say it here lol. It ties in with the story because he was buying the drugs from andie and he was her top customer. She blackmailed max with alot of money in order to stay quiet and not tell anyone. Pip thought that the murderer was bim at first.
My thoughts on the book
O thought this book was soo goood. Ot was the quickest book i had finished a book (5 days). I reallly like the relationship dynamic between pip and ravi. I couldnt stop shiiping them together lol. I also really loved the ending the plot twist managed to reveal all the information i the most heartbreaking way. I was actually so sad when it was revealed that elliot had done that to andie because i never would have suspected it the first time reading but now that i think of it, it really does make sense. I thought that the older guy would be howie bower at first but i was wrong. I really do hope that the next books are just as good as the first one because it is one of my favourite books now.
