at first glance, forlorn comes off as someone who's rather cold and distant. he usually prefers to avoid speaking, but when he does talk, he gets
right to business. he is also very brutally honest, which makes him a poor choice of a cat to expect compliments from. rui often speaks with a
sarcastic undertone since he tends to feel contempt towards others. his cynical words are often interpreted as his inability to see the positives in
life. additionally, his mannerisms convey an arrogance that is rooted in his belief in faking it till you make it. this is why most felines tend to avoid
associating with him.

however, as one gets to know rory, they begin to understand that his cynicism is rooted in his practical nature. he is grounded in the way that he
understands that life isn't always perfect. his nature and mannerisms tend to single him as an idiosyncratic individual. this is heightened by the fact
that he doesn't try to conform to norms. felines that are close to him get to see a casual and relaxed side of him. he is willing to break a few rules if
it means having fun and doesn't take things too seriously around his loved ones. this contributes to his lively nature since he wants to live his life to
the fullest. rui is fiercely loyal to his loved ones that is characterized by his willingness to put his life on the line if it means keeping them safe. his
friends and family also experience his caring and compassionate nature towards their well-being since his fierce protectiveness is how he expresses
love. rory is also extremely intelligent when it comes to battle strategy and hunting strategies which will make him a good mentor.

» Thank you for reading my application for Forsakenkit! I really enjoyed writing the concept of a unique character who doesn't conform to expectations
and standards. His personality is really intriguing and has a lot of potential for plots as well. One plot I will definitely explore if I end up winning him is
related how he tends to avoid interacting with strangers partially due to his fear that they will tear down his ego and partially due to the fact that he
fears being attracted to strangers and losing that attraction once he gets to know them.
