i think it would be cool if there were new blocks for membership because it just makes sense, you're paying money to have more stuff like sprites and blocks, AND you're helping scratch donate to multiple businesses that help children

What would happen if a Member used these blocks and someone else (who's not a member) remixed. Would they still have access to these blocks? Or would it completely break the project?

i know but they say that they raise money so that they can donate to other businesses to help children so is it really that bad

Not sure what the booing was for, but as for the suggestion, I think you have to understand that people are going to backpack the scripts with the exclusive blocks just like the exclusive membership sprites, that's not really an issue, but more something to think about

they might make so people who dont have membership cant backpack the sprites

Yeah… No support. The day Scratch becomes pay-to-win is a day a lot of people(myself included) will leave. I'm fine as long as it's just sprites and things like events, but if they start adding things that change the website there's going to be riots.

Exactly.

Adding new Scratch blocks that would be locked behind a paywall is both against the “Share” aspect of Scratch's motto and Scratch's purpose as a programming language. That is, it would promote exclusivity in projects when Scratch has historically and continually adhered to keeping their platform as a place of creative freedom, especially with the use of other's work in one's own projects. I believe 8.7 of TOLORS has several points that pertain to why they will likely not implement this suggestion in the manner you seem to be implying.

However, giving those in the Membership Program access to custom blocks that they can use on the site (with the ability to be backpacked by non-member users) would appear to be in line with what the Membership Program is trying to do: provide incentive to consistently donate without putting Scratch's non-profit and free status in jeopardy.

I feel like releasing it to Scratch Lab for everyone would be a better idea

Unfortunately, this will just make everyone upset. People already dislike the membership as it is, but this would only make it worse.
