“you're in a dream.” “no I’m not.” “yes, you are.”

Clément didn't know what he was doing. He had never imagined her like this. That peaceful, quiet little girl, perched lightly on a chair, brown curls swishing back and forth ever so slightly as she nodded, a faint, happy smile on her lips. Those bright, hazel eyes, covered only by a barely visible mist of incertitude as they gazed into his chocolate brown irises, twinkling with empathy – empathy he had never experienced from any other being in this world. Elisa Wagner, organiser of the ball, had been so delightful in her midnight blue gown.

He had never imagined, never in all his daydreams of him and her, imagined that he would be sitting on an uncomfortable

Elisa woke up again. Like every time she did wake up – that was, very rarely given her current conditions – she would find the first thought to strike her be – where for heaven's sake was she? Then, absorbing the white walls, empty chairs and heavy, sterilised silence around her, she would finally come to the realisation that she was still in the same hospital bed, under the same, colourless sheets in the very same hospital.

That day, however, something had changed. She felt it before she saw it. Today, the air was alive. It still smelled of cleaning potions and overly polished floor tiles, but there was something – something alive near her. That only thought made her relax. She liked to think that she was not entirely alone in this strange place.

It was only after her vision began clearing from the fog gathered around her eyes that she noticed that the person sitting right besides her was not

Hihi SWCers and the occasional random stalker! I'm Sunny, a Chinese teen living in France and currently on vacation in the US. I am so so excited to begin my sixth session of SWC with you all, and I hope that everyone gets the very best experience here. This is only the second time I've attempted a 1k word intro so uh. wish me luck lol.
Here's a little bit about my SWCHistory. I've started participating as a camper in the Lord of the Rings themed march ‘24 session in Script cabin, and have participated in every session since then. This session will be my second time in a cabin’s leadership team, my first one being last session in Utopian with the amazing Liv and Vicky! July was absolutely incredible, and I look forward to this session being as awesome. I'll be co-leading Fairytales alongside the wonderful Mildred and Mable (huh maybe I should rename myself as Munny. You know, to match with the team hehe). Not to brag but I am very much in love with our cabin's graphics as I am sure you will be too once you see them ;D
I love SWC, and if you're new here, you are going to discover an amazing community. Everyone is here is incredibly nice and we are united with our shared love of mangos (and writing, but that's just a detail ;P). For me personally, SWC has given me the opportunity to improve my writing skills but also dig deeper into the world of creative writing, all while making cherished memories and long lasting friendships.
Before I started writing, I first began reading. When I was only seven or eight, my mom would find books for me, and my love for those only grew. At about nine years old, I read the Harry Potter series – which I'm still a huge fan of. I've also read amazing classics such as the Lord of the Rings, Little Women, the Giver, Holes, Frankenstein, and so many others. Along with these are also the fascinating Grishaverse series and other young adult novels.
I only really got into creative writing when I began participating in SWC, and I'm quite proud to say that I'm quite a bit better than I was when I started out.

Now, onto a bit about my person. As I've mentioned before, I'm actually Chinese, if that comes out as a surprise to you (hence the weird username spelling lol). I went to France when I was three years old and have been living there since! This also means I'm trilingual – I can read, write and speak French, English and Chinese, something I'm quite proud of. I am, however, not thrilled to say that I will have to learn Spanish next year… nothing against you Spanish folk but the aspect of learning a whole new language is quite intimidating.

At school, my favourite subjects are everything STEM and litterature, which basically covers the majority of what we learn lol. This means I'm struggling a lot to choose between humanities and STEM for high school… oopsie

Aside from school, I have a couple extracurriculars I am very invested in. The first one I mention is piano – an instrument I've started at only four years old. I've had a grand total of six teachers – long story (not because I'm naughty I promise, I am a very good student o7 /hj). I have too many favourite pieces to account for, so I'll spare you from a long list of numbers and opus and composers This year, I'll be passing some important piano exams, and I'm already stressing for those even though they're months away hehe.

I also play volleyball competitively! It's by far my favourite sport and I am convinced volleyball is superior to all other sports (especially to basketball, probably just to ignore three of my really close friends who play it lol /lh) Volleyball is how I met a really good friend who's now at my school as well.

Aside from those two, I also attend music theory classes once per week (trust me the stuff is so confusing why do they literally want us to compose and do difficult things ToT), traditional Chinese dance classes, and choir classes.

I think I've been ignoring the most important part here – my personality. And uh. I will just say that I am a very lazy person and the proof of that is that I am too lazy to include a personality description here – you'll have to search for that in my leader app, as I do go over it in detail there (and yes I really am lazy so I really won't include a personality description – but also I have an excuse and it's that I am travelling and don't have access to a real actual keyboard which makes typing very tiring )

And now, since I don't know what to talk about anymore but still have to write almost 200 words, I will ramble about the most unrelated things ever and my sentences will be very very run-on and grammar will be left behind hehe.

Ooh okay I got an idea I will write about The History of Sunny's Nickname because, well, that's what my brain came up with. My first ever Scratch nickname was April, simply because I didn't have anything better and was born in the month of April. Some of my ancient-er friends here (hi Vicky) knew me as that.

Then, at some point, I think I might have changed my nickname to Ash because I somehow seemed to like the idea of dust and ash…? I don't know loll.. (wait note here I think this was before the April phase…? I have bad memory guys)

And finally! we arrived at Sunny and finally this was something that made sense. It's derived off of my real name (sorta had the same meaning?) and I think I'll be settling on that.

Alright I think I will have reached 1k words by the end of this sentence. Hooray!!
