hello, i'm val! i'm a tfcrp moderator and a community member since 2019! i love videogames, such as rpg, open worlds, battle royale, point and click, etc. my main favorites are fallout, resident evil, and stardew valley, though i have a ton more! i study psychology and criminology as a law student as well. i am a lover or all things vintage and antique, and an avid collector or things in that realm including but not limited to clothing, glassware/figurines (specifically uranium and depression glass!), taxidermy, specimen, lamps, and jewelry! :-)

i've been on and off scratch consistently for about 8 years in total now! scratch has been a big part of my life ever since my first account, which i made with my best friend in kindergarten. i love to make new friends, and i use roleplaying as a gateway for that, since i've found some of my closest friends in different roleplay groups! i've joined an assortment of warrior cat roleplays on and off-site, and i consider myself to be pretty experienced. i am a semi-lit to literate writer, though i enjoy writing and roleplaying with any level of experience!

02. the kit

⋆˙⟡ which kit & why.
daybreakkit absolutely took my breath away when i initially saw her. i instantly had ideas for her and connected to her beauty, cultivating a character that i would love to roleplay if given the chance! her design is stunning and i've looked forward to applying for her since the day i saw her, and id love to share my ideas with you! i formed a sibling concept with @ranmilky that defines a lot of her personality and really helped me flesh her out, and i'm just so so excited!! thank you for the opportunity and good luck to everyone else entering, i can't wait to read your applications :-)

⋆˙⟡ longevity.
my characters all live relatively long and enjoyable lives, and the more i develop them in roleplay, the more connected i become. i write and roleplay quite often, therefore it's easy for me to become heavily attached to my characters and harder for me to kill them off. i would adore daysie if i got the opportunity to write for her, with already having a connection and plots for her as stated previously! i absolutely adore spoiling my characters with art of them, whether it be by me or other people. i would be entirely dedicated to daybreakkit and enamoredkit, making sure to progress their family trees and create a legacy for them, as well as providing them with longevity <3
regarding my tendency to harm my characters, if it develops them in roleplay because of a specific event and i have reasoning behind it, i will cause mental or physical harm to my characters for development! otherwise, i do not harm my characters for no reason as it doesn't make much sense to me and i would much rather just write out an encounter that developed my character's story directly.

⋆˙⟡ gender & orientation.
because of how vital daybreak's femininity is to how she portrays herself and views herself, she would likely stay cisgender and remain referred to as she/her. for her future orientation, i believe that she would be polysexual. the silky-furred feline is non discriminatory towards appearance, and more so personality; if you bore her you can kiss your chances goodbye.

the sun.
the dappled calico is a joy to be around when her maw is decorated by a pearly smile. she is graceful, offering a helping paw to any passerby who may need a step-up. daysie's sweet, honeylike words are curiously enticing, and she speaks with great care; every word is chosen delicately to convey her point accurately. pairing this with her silky pelt and long, frosted eyelashes, daybreak is quite the charismatic cat. her intricate word choice allows her to get her way more often than not, which she finds curious, and often tests her ability.
daybreak adores the sun with her whole heart and she believes that the sun is a gracious entity. no matter what atrocities you may have committed, the sun will still caress all of those that show their face to her. everyone deserves to be forgiven by the sun, as she gives life to all of those around her.

the moon.
alongside her gentle laugh and her sparkling eyes comes a darker side— emotions she struggles to wrangle in and control due to her weak sense of self-control. daysie is aware of her pretty coat of fur and her excellence in persuasion, giving her the ego of a lifetime. when pushed aggressively, she will snap back and remark ruthlessly to whomever prompted. she tends to lean towards insults which are variations of “i'm superior to you, and you are the dirt beneath my paws, the dirt that i walk on.” daybreak is respectful and courteous to those whom she believes deserves the respect, though she is an entirely different feline to those who she believes do not deserve it.
she attempts to control her composure and maintain her elegant appearance, and that is actually significantly important to her despite the fact that she is unable to handle herself on occasion.
it doesn't help that nightfall is an enabler to daybreak's meltdowns, as they seem to constantly be by one another's side, and gossip about anyone and everyone who pushes their buttons. anything that she has ever said or done, nightfall knows about it and surely she was the one who nudged daybreak in your direction.

≫ daybreakkit goes by the nicknames daysie, bebe, and hemera
≫ she emits the sweet scent of honeycomb paired with a subtle milky undertone, giving her a motherly aroma. how she smells is very important to her, and she is afraid of smelling bad or unappealing.
≫ daysie is infatuated with the sun. as i mentioned previously, she believes that the sun is a forgiving and adoring entity that does not discriminate against whom she blesses. she is one of many who are a “disciple of the sun” in a sense, though it moreso means she treats the sun like a friend and speaks to her, as a child would their imaginary friend.
