Update the ban page to be more detailed and use 3.0 design.

Even if this should be on 3.0 style, I think it’s not the priority, forums, profile and many others things are more important in my opinion, however, nice mockup

Update the ban page to be more detailed and use 3.0 design. If only cats could use Scratch, I think it would be a LOT less popular. Mostly because 99.99999999999999% of all Scratch accounts are humans.

4.4 Ability to see who reported a project––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––Reports are intended to be anonymous. With this suggestion, drama could be started if a user sees that another user reported their project. Some may even retaliate by reporting their projects in return (whether or not the projects deserved to be reported). This includes the ability to see who reported a comment, profile, studio, or forum post.

«only cats are allowed to use scratch» LOL
Yeah, this is actually a good idea, but I think the ban page is already good and modern enough. Would be a nice touch, though.

Note that the appeals process is a bit different from what is presented in your mockup image. There are a few problems about the information titled “To ask for your account to be unbanned.”
Temporary bans cannot be appealed (since the blocked user can just wait for the ban to expire), so the ban page should not be mentioning Contact Us at all.
Certain non-temporary bans are appealable, and the way this currently works is by filling out an appeals form that appears on the ban page. This appeals form is unrelated to Contact Us, and the Scratch Team prefers that you use this appeals form instead of Contact Us when you appeal a ban. As a result, the ban page should not be mentioning Contact Us at all.
Then there are bans that are non-appealable. Some come from bans like inappropriate usernames, where the Scratch Team will often state on the ban page that the user can create a new account as long as the username is appropriate, in which case Contact Us is not needed. Others come from bans enforced against users who appealed multiple times and are clearly not changing their behavior, so they will stay banned, in which case Contact Us is not needed.
So for those who get banned that somehow don't align with any of the above categories, they can use the usual Contact Us link. I'm not sure that displaying the Contact Us link so prominently on the ban page is a good idea, because if that's the first thing that users see when they get banned (while emotions are high), this may just incentivize them to send angry messages without thinking about their ban.
I'm not really sure if this exact text is part of your suggestion, but I wanted to mention all of this just in case it is.

I think the mockup is a permament ban,not an temporary one…..so they may be correct.

I think there was something being made for username changes (for people who were blocked for usernames), though I have no idea if it included a general page for blocked people.

I give high support BUT please include the scratch community guidelines listed in the ban page. The link should also be the same (scratch.mit.edu/accounts/banned-response or scratch.mit.edu/banned-response or scratch.mit.edu/users/banned-response)
