Block feature for scratch

A lot of scratchers (usually bigger ones) get stalked or harassed by other scratchers.
Another reason this feature is need is because some scratchers experience bullying.

on the contrary this feature could be used for bullying (which I don't support)
Even if that happens that's just one negative. I still feel this feature would help
the majority.

Sorry this is rejected:
8.6 Blocking or ignoring Scratchers
This suggestion refers to an optional system that makes it so that you do not have to see comments that a particular user posts. This feature existed in Scratch 1.4, but the Scratch Team found that it buried any problems rather than solving them. Even if you block a user, that does not stop them from harassing other Scratchers. If someone is being disrespectful, be sure to report that user with the Report button, or use the Contact Us link if the situation requires more explanation.

Please read the Official List Of rejected suggestions before posting!

yes but after the scratcher gets reported enough times they get banned.

Not quite- no bot enforces any bans (except for one lasting about an hour if your project was automatically taken down automatically, but the ST doesn't hold anything against you if that happens and your project was actually fine- they send alerts to those who reported it). A human moderator looks over every report the ST receives and decides what punishment, if any, should be taken out on the reporter and reportee (the person reported). If you do enough things that break the rules, or repeatedly ignore alerts, or do something severe once (like something illegal) you risk a ban.
