Bump Button

I just had to go and bump my topic, and I realized I was just spamming it up. We need a bump button, like they have on Mweor, so we don't just spam up a topic with the word bump.

Not unless it is excessive (they repeatedly bump it even though it's still visible.).

I support, but it also needs a control feature or else it will lead to spam. Maybe make it so you can only bump it once every 6 hours or so?

Or maybe every hour? I think that would be a lot better than six hours, because by then it could be a couple pages back and the owner would be bumping it a lot.

It depends which forum it was posted in. I think 6 hours is fine, if youy had anything necessary to say you wouldn't need to bump the topic.

Why would you need to bump it anyways?
I don't want to sound rude, but if your topic/post (whatever it's called) isn't popular, there's a reason.
If you really have to bump it, just use the regular method.
Bumping should only be used if you're desperate…

But, in all honesty, I feel that bumping should be frowned upon.

The bump button, yes. But bumping with a post doesn't seem to be a problem to me.

It's good if people wait several hours to bump a topic, but doing that every 15 minutes is bad.

It should only be done like once a day IMO. If its not being posted on after several bumps, a few more probably isn't going to change anything.

No, it is ok if you do it once or twice a day, but if you get obsessed with it and do it too many times a day, then it isn't ok.
