I support this suggestion, but I think the wait time between bumps should be 3 hours. One hour is too short, but 6 hours is too long.

In what section would this be needed every 3 hours? Things I'm Reading and Playing? Even there, I think 6 hours would be perfectly fine. A collaboration stayed on the front page for over 12 hours (8 PM to 8 AM). The last topic on the front page of this forum was last posted on 22 hours ago. I think 8 hours even is a bit small, now.
