For context, a year ago I made this little scratch cat plushie. It’s a bit weird looking and it’s starting to fall apart so I’ve decided to start making a new one. I’ll post updates of the plushie regularly. Picture below is the old scratch cat plushie, feel free to ask for more pictures of the old plushie.

To do list:
make the plushie's head
make the plushie's body
make the plushie's arms
make the plushie's legs
make the plushie's tail

the head and the muzzle of the plushie are complete, I just need to add the eyes, nose, and mouth now. Still not sure if I'll add the whiskers though

Finally completed the plushie's head! (albeit without whiskers or a mouth yet). I'll post a picture soon, for now, I'll start work on the plushie's torso.

I have some bad news I've ran out of plush stuffing, which means I can't complete the scratch cat plushie for now, hope everyone understands

I have good news, I got some new plushie stuffing and I finally finished the body of the scratch cat. I've already sewn the body to the head, and I'm currently making the arms now. I'll post a picture soon

Great work so far! Looks very faithful to the original sprite. Very cute!

It was a stormy night when it all went down. I was on my computer playing a game when my doorbell rung, when I walked over and opened the door no one was there. Its rare people ring so late especially when I live 10 minutes away from anyone else. I didn't think much of it and thought it was probably someone who was walking by and decided to ring for whatever reason. When I went back to my computer it was on Google on a website I have never seen before. The website was dark with red text that said “Thank you for your purchase.” I didn't understand it since I didn't buy anything that day. an hour later when I was about to go to sleep I heard another ring from the doorbell. When I opened the door I saw a small box laying down on the floor soaking wet, I picked it up and brought it into the house. When I opened it I saw a homemade orange cat plush that looked eerily familiar. I didn't think much of it and placed it on the table and threw away the box, it was then that I heard steps from upstairs. Chills ran down from the spine and I rushed upstairs to find out what was going on. When I got up to my bedroom directly below where I was I saw nothing and decided to go to sleep. I woke up a couple hours later when a huge bolt of lightning hit my house and took the power out. Now being completely in the dark I decided to try to find my light and go back to bed. I carefully made it out of my room and stumbled down the stairs with the only source of light I had was the occasional strike of lightning, one time I swore I had saw something from the corner of my eye. When I found my light I was making my way back up the stairs when I saw light from my upstairs bathroom. The power never went out. now freaked out I rushed to the bathroom and found the orange cat on the floor, for being previously soaked in rain water it was oddly dry. I turned off the light and grabbed the plush, I then ran to my bedroom and locked the door, placing the cat on my desk. I had no way of calling anybody as I had cracked my phone, breaking the touchscreen. I struggled to fall asleep but managed to after a while. When I woke up, I couldn't move my body at all while the door slowly creaked open revealing that orange plush. I fell back asleep and when I woke up it was gone. Somehow. Something opened the door that night. Nothing like that has ever happened again.

thanks! one of my priorities when making the plushie was being faithful to the original sprite. it was originally going to have the same pose as the old plushie but I decided against it

Alr I finished the tail. I was going to make a mouth for the scratch cat but it broke in pieces I’ll post pictures soon
