Being able to do projects while blocked.
Since whenever Scratchers get blocked they (almost) never have back-ups of projects so they can't work on projects that weren't saved maybe we could do projects while blocked but not share them.
when I receive [ blocked]
if <not <[projected saved as file?] = [true]>> then
say [Awwww man! I can't work on] (project I wanted to do)
end

I would support downloading projects but not editing projects because if you were to use the scratch editor normally that would defeat the whole purpose of being banned, downloading your projects though is kinda like a “download your data”

The offline editor exists.
Plus, blocks are supposed to serve as a punishment, and until you successfully appeal, a block basically means “Scratch is not for you”.

That is true, and also I read another post with a similar topic. I now understand that it is to harder to get banned than I originally thought. now I think you should at least be able to download your old projects to move them to the editor. The offline editor still exists i agree, some kids may be using it for school assignments and won't be able to do their work.

Well, the motto of Scratch is “Imagine, Program, Share”, the first two cannot be done during bans. Besides, people might move to Scratch fanmade upgrades and forget about Scratch. The original. The offline editor exists.

Well, there is no way to continue your work. So if you had an idea, you can't do it. That is cruel to children because, they might lose the idea if they didn't write it down. That's the point. Cruel? It's a ban from a website, and it was probably deserved. They can also just write their ideas down after they get banned, if they are worried that they might lose them later on. If any of their projects were shared, they can just remix them or re-release them. It's only the work in progress projects that are lost.Well, there is no way to continue your work. “Remix them or rerelease them” this topic is on unshared projects. Shared projects you can download the file, this is for unshared stuff. And, what if they had the idea but forgot it right when they were banned. You're not thinking of all the scenarios.Cruel? It's a ban from a website, and it was probably deserved. As someone who got permabanned myself here is the way to edit your projects when banned. I am still banned, so this is an alt.
1. Log out of account.
2. Go to your projects (which don't get deleted after ban)
3. Create new account
4. Remix Project
5. Enjoy working on your project!

2: If they already forgot the idea, it is doing no harm to them.
3: Neither are you or anyone here.
As I said before, the ban was probably deserved, and it should act as a punishment. You shouldn't be babied when you get banned. People should be advised to learn from their mistakes.

Support. Scratch is too strict with their moderation. However, they may have blocked the editor because there could be exploits used to share projects.
