Automated Accounts

I'm working on a project using ScratchAttach, and I was wondering if it's against the rules to have bot accounts… I've logged into my test account before using ScratchAttach to run a script that monitors cloud variables. If I made an account that would be primarily used by a ScratchAttach script for monitoring cloud variables for one of my projects, like as a server, is that allowed?

i think automating any social actions is strictly against the rules, and thus any account dedicated to automated things is probably not allowed and will get banned.

for something like monitoring variables, if you're not setting anything (just polling/staying connected to a websocket connection), why do you need a separate account?

And why would you need to use an account just to monitor scratch variables
You dont even need scratch attach you can just do it in scratch if all you want is just to monitor cloud variables and you can save the info in lists
Im not 100% sure if it will work but i have recently been testing stuff like these

Scratch is for humans, and we do not allow bot activity of any kind. Our Community Guidelines state, “It’s important to be honest and authentic when interacting with others on Scratch,” because we want everyone to have a safe, welcoming, and genuine experience on Scratch.

Except search engine indexers. (Hence robots.txt)
Yeah, don't make a bot.

The devs really need to update the scratch-gui repo- I'm getting at least 19 “npm warn deprecated” warnings whenever I try to install its dependencies, and yes, I'm using the latest version of node.js and npm. Then again, the dev page on this website and the wiki in the repo still refer to Scratch 3.0 in beta, and link the current website as an example of 2.0.
