Well, there are no plans to release 4.0 currently.
Probably not, since the Wii was discontinued by Nintendo. There is, however, a suggestion (in the Suggestions forum) that proposes game controller support.

Also, I know the Wii discontinued. The homebrew channel is going defunct. Anyways, Getting back on topic…
