How to monetize your Scratch games ?

I want monetize my Scratch games but I can't.If you know something about it please comment below.Free or paid does not matter.It just needs to be uploaded on App Store,Play Store,Steam and etc.

You cannot make money directly from scratch. Also this is for suggestions, not questions. I will report it to be moved.

This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. I mean, you can try posting on Itch.

BugattiHoonicorn is a dude who dosent remember when he joined Scratch. He thinks that he joined in September 13, 2021, but he isnt sure.

Hooni also likes things like cars, Pretty Blood, Pokemon, and a lot of other stuff. He usually dosent care what other people think about him, and he usually is a bit passive agressive at times.

Anyways, thats a little bit about me for now, mabye ill add more to my new siggy later.

It is possible to upload your projects to other sites, but if you are trying to make money in the process, then you shouldn't also share it on Scratch as anything posted here is subject to the Creative Commons License, which allows people to share and resuse your content with credit.

If you share something one scratch and you also sell it, you won't get any money since people will be playing it on scratch

You can’t directly monetize on Scratch, but I guess you could turn your project into a full fledged app or game

You have to use other sites for monetization. It does not work on scratch for reasons listed above.

I would start this process with taking the project off scratch, as monetization directly from scratch isn’t possible. To take it off scratch, maybe try the turbowarp packager?

Yea first you shouldnt share it as sharing it gives it a CC BY-SA 2.0 license which as other people said it allows other people to share and remix your projects with proper attribution next you probably need to use turbo warp packager and export it as some kind of file perhaps an EXE for a desktop app for steam app store or play store and as an html file for online game sites
And you would probably need to adjust the screen sizes and other settings if you want it to be full screen on desktop and on phones its completely different so you would need to make a separate version for phones / mobile

Now im not sure if this would work or if im right since i havent uploaded games to other sites but i think its worth a try
