does necroposting exist in the suggestions forum?
Yes. However unlike some other forums it doesn't just mean posting on an old topic. Necroposting happens when posting on an old suggestion that is no longer relevant. For example, if the suggestion was a duplicate that the ST never closed, it was eventually implemented, was rejected after it was posted, somehow made irrelevant, etc. However as long as the suggestion is still something that is relevant, then bumping old suggestions is allowed even if they have not seen activity for a long time.

Basically, if it's rejected or implemented, yes. If it's still unimplemented and not rejected, and relevant, then no. However as long as the suggestion is still something that is relevant, then bumping old suggestions is allowed even if they have not seen activity for a long time.

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/PROJECT ID HERE/remixtree (replace “PROJECT ID HERE” with project id number. Shows all the remixes of the project, and the remixes of those projects, and the remixes of those projects, and so on, as a chart. Link currently redirects to one of my projects). There was a button on the project page linking to this in 2.0, but it was removed.

The devs really need to update the scratch-gui repo- I'm getting at least 19 “npm warn deprecated” warnings whenever I try to install its dependencies, and yes, I'm using the latest version of node.js and npm. Then again, the dev page on this website and the wiki in the repo still refer to Scratch 3.0 in beta, and link the current website as an example of 2.0.

Hello, I'm @-Expo! I'm a veteran Scratcher and member of the Scratch translation team who has been on Scratch ever since I was four (a long time ago!) In real life, I am a proffesional footballer for the Asociación de Fútbol Argentino and Brighton. I'm a huge Huge FC Barcelona Fan and loyal subject to Rosario Central. I use scratch for coding, making friends, and helping people out. I hope you enjoy my projects!

In other words: if the topic would be closed if it was made today, do not bump it. Yes. However unlike some other forums it doesn't just mean posting on an old topic.
