Can you get banned for this

Ok, so I seen a few comments in some studios. The comments are like:

“Follow (User) so he can get close to 1000 followers!!!”
“guys go follow (User) so he can get 100 followers”

The comments basically say to go follow some dude so he can reach their follower goal.

Do people get banned for doing this? I just want to know.

BugattiHoonicorn is a dude who dosent remember when he joined Scratch. He thinks that he joined in September 13, 2021, but he isnt sure.

Hooni also likes things like cars, Pretty Blood, Pokemon, and a lot of other stuff. He usually dosent care what other people think about him, and he usually is a bit passive agressive at times.

Anyways, thats a little bit about me for now, mabye ill add more to my new siggy later.

it is often the case that people advertise for themselves or others … but I think it's very close to the borderline between report or no report

if a user reports such comments the person who wrote them is not banned immediately, often there are other reasons in case of a ban

You can get in trouble for advertising anywhere it specifically says not to, whether that be a studio, profile, or project. It's more of a grey zone if advertising is allowed, but I still wouldn't recommend begging for follows or advertising in ways beyond adding projects to studios. Generally people find comment advertising or using studio invites to promote a game annoying.

Potatoes are good. Game dev is good. Potatoes in game dev is remarkable.

They would get an alert at first for spam, and if it continues enough then they could probably get a short ban. I don't think it's enough for a permaban.

a cool thing I found: if you type “(c)” it will show up as ©

I decided to stop using the support convention

give me song suggestions on my profile (I mostly listen to rock and metal)

when tuned to [drop c v] :: hat events
repeat until <drenched in sweat? :: sensing>
blast some epic [system of a down v] riffs :: motion
