I know that many people are annoyed by F4F, so make a part of the website where you can do that without annoying the others.
This would help against the problems of F4F being an annoying spammy thing on popular places and comments, because with an official place for it you could prohibit users from doing F4F on other places of the site but leave the F4F community a good place for doing their F4F. Then the anti F4Fers would have no more problems with the no longer existing spam F4F comments on popular places and the F4F community had a good place to do F4F.
(a.k.a everyone could be happy)

Edit: Yes, then you could also block off F4F from other site areas and nope - it's not for supporting like the F4Fers or the other side (anti-F4Fers) but rather to avoid arguments and let both sides be happy while both can do their thing.

And yeah the advertising part is removed because that's another thing.

Just do it in a studio that allows it, Also this would be a huge opportunity for trolls to get kids to see inappropriate things. Trolls would put something inappropriate in a priject, advertise it to unsuspecting kids, and then they would see it. Not to mention the absolute lag fest that this thing would cause. Not only would it make the page it’s put on basically unusable, but it also might make the entire website slow down.

True, however, if ST was to make an official “place to F4F”, that would make it seem that ST supports the idea that fame really matters, which might be problematic.

I think it's a problem how people directly connect F4F and fame hungry. It's like a way to improve your audience and have fun on the site but don't think that I - for example - am a fame hungry scratcher just because I F4F…

Also, you shouldn't necessarily actively support F4F as the ST (and by opening such a place you don't necessarily “support” but rather “accept”) but just tolerate it and help the F4Fers and the other Scratchers be both happy.

Let the F4Fers do ther thing on a special area of the site where the non F4Fers dont go and therefore you can also prohibit F4F asking on the other parts of the website. This would help as well the F4F community, aswell the others and public places in here because you don't just encounter F4F spam comments and everything would be basically cleaner and happier.

Thats something you should do yourself, make a studio for it if you want, or a project that allows people to do so, an official location made by the ST would lead to the belief that it is an intended feature (which its not, its not banned, but its not something thats intended either, it simply exists)

Well, there exactly is the problem… There are many F4F studios and places by the community, but most are kind of small and you need to search for good studios which permanently change. That's also the reason why many F4F requests end up on places like featured projects and popular projects. That is a good reason to make ONE place for F4Fers and then you can actually prevent all the F4F spam comments everywhere and have the F4Fers be happy too.
Also, it has become pretty much hard to impossible to grow and keep up good F4F studios since the studios 3.0 update with all the new limitation for for example manager limits…
So with a new and official F4F place on scratch that would be solved too.

It's not hard to find someone that does f4f. All you have to do is look at any popular user's profile and you're pretty much guaranteed to find someone asking for it. On a side note, I wonder if a topic specifically for f4f would be allowed in Show and Tell or other subforums, because that might be the right way to do this without getting the ST involved (besides moderation).

Yeah, it's a thing about it. I do think, that a lof of hate about the F4F community originates from the spammy F4F comments they post on popular places to get attention. I think, and that's why I had that idea of an official F4F place to let the F4F community have a good place for F4F aswell as the others no longer be annoyed by spammy F4F comments.
