I finally finished my Scratch Homepage Redesign. Here it is:

honestly I think the current on works fine why redesign what's already working?

The icons look ugly
And what’s wrong with the current one?
Changing the homepage meant changing the whole web (or at least, most of the web.)

What is up with the navbar LOL. Also, the navbar should have some text at least.

Guess what is grey
This guy did something similar with “3.1” LOL, where he did separate topics for things like the editor and forums.

This does look nice and appealing, but sticking with what we have now is arguably a better option imo.

Maybe elaborate, as you could say that to any Scratch version based on your opinion.

so it has a lot of gradients that look really bad also it is inconsistent between simple and realistic

I think he's saying its the hover text.

Honestly, kind of unappealing, and not as good compared to the current homepage.

- Looks too much like Scratch 1.x, but not as good.
- Colours are, meh. Could be implemented much better.
- Icons in the navbar might work, but aren't very recognizable. They feel like an old forum rather than Scratch.
- The grey background is an odd choice, and quite bland.
- Why a single featured project?
- It's not quite as clean, and loses a little character, although the current front page already lost some character.
