so i've spent maybe 7 attempts on fighting jevil and so far the farthest i've gotten was like a turn or two after he started bouncing. i don't really need much help on a strategy just with dodging his stupid bullet patterns (i'm able to get past his first attack without taking much damage but everything afterward i've just been barely scraping by through sheer panic XD) so if anyone has any tips please let me know :>

1. pay close attention to the way the bullets move. knowing how they travel is going to be a big help.
2. memorize what he says before each attack. this will allow you to know what his next attack will be and you won't be caught off guard.
3. experiment with different methods of dodging. this will help you figure out what to do and what not to do.
4. if you're still taking lots of damage, do the following:
stock up on healing items. the best you can have in chapter 1 is the topcake(interact with topchef's cake to get the broken cake, then bring it to malius and he will make it into the topcake), 2 revive mints(one is found in the forest, the other is in card castle), the club sandwich(someone at the party in the club room of card castle will give it to you when you talk to them), and 8 darkburgers(bought from seam). if you want to save the topcake for future chapters, I'd recommend not fixing the broken cake until after you defeat Jevil. use that slot for another darkburger instead.
only use items to heal ralsei. use his heal prayer for healing the party, and use heal prayer on him first if multiple party members are hurt. because a darkburger is enough to fully heal chapter 1 ralsei, you can save them until he's low on health.
optimize the party's gear. for having the most balanced stats, equip the ribbon(found in the field) to kris, the dice brace(found in the forest) to susie, and the shackle(interact with the chain in card castle's dungeon) to ralsei, and equip amber cards(bought from seam or rouxls) to the other armor slot. go ahead and equip the spooky sword(bought from seam) and brave axe(bought from rouxls). if you're going to use violence, equip the ragger(found in the forest) to ralsei. otherwise, give him the dainty scarf(bought from rouxls).

And Spamton neo snowgrave route does 50 damage and regular does 30 (I think)
