Welcome to Myth's activity forum! If you are not apart of myth this session, this does not relate to you, but feel free to read on anyways. Here you can find helpful resources and links, and get updated on any information related our storyline inside our cabin. First off, any questions and scenarios you may come across this session:

What is SWC, and how does it work?
Any questions you have regarding SWC can be answered here. Please take some time to read through it and if you are still confused, feel free to ask Alana or me any questions you may have!

How do I add words?
Great question! This session, we'll have two word count groups: you'll be notified and invited into one of them. We have the Greeks and the Romans. You'll be counting your words in the one you're a part of. To add words, comment the amount of words you’re adding, and where you wrote them from.

Example: “+300 words from a history assignment, new total: 500 words.”

It’s not required to include your new total of words, as we’ll add it for you, but it certainly does help. If you aren’t sure what gets counted, here are the guidelines: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/6701250 .

What is our currency/What does it mean?'
Our currency this session will be ingots, and the symbol is ⎚. This is a fun addition to match with our storyline! You can use ingots to purchase things that do with cabin spirit such as banners, icons, badges, and such. These are the different ways you can earn them!

✑ Submit writing in the critiquitaire - 1 ⎚

✑ Rise to a new rank - 3 ⎚
✑ Complete a daily - 5 ⎚

What do we have to do as campers?
As campers, we expect you to treat everyone in the cabin, and outside of it with respect. Here are a few things that we would love for you to do when you have time, but of course, work at your own pace and do what's best for you <3 Life > SWC.

✑ Complete 2 weeklies
✑ Participate in 5 word wars
✑ Sleep before 11 PM (if possible)

I'm going to go inactive for a while, what should I do?
Since this is an online camp, we DO NOT expect for you to check in every day. If you are going inactive though, we would appreciate if you could give us an update in the cabin, so we know what to expect from you. Although the signups had asked for everyone's activity level, it's extremely difficult to look for your sign-up, among everyone else's.

My word count leader hasn't updated my word count in a while, and now I can't keep track of it myself. Is there anything I can do?
I understand it may be frustrating, but we ask for you to be patient. If they haven't replied with something like “Added!” in a while, you can can keep replying to a comment you've made until they reply to it. Example:

+300 words from a book report! New total: 600 words

(replied) +500 words from an essay! New total: 1100 words

How do ranks work?
Ranks each give you different benefits. More information on it can be found in The Armory project.

Activity #1
For our first activity, we’ll be introducing ourselves to the cabin (post-introductions)! Please provide your nickname and pronouns as well as at least one fact about you that you find interesting/would like to share. This activity is worth 2 ingots. Feel free to share your introduction after July 1st, EST, but anything after the 1st of July will not count for ingots.

Description: Introduce yourself with you nickname, pronouns, and a fact about you
Reward: 2 ingots
Time period: June 29th-July 2nd
Once you finish this, make sure to add your ingots in your word count group!

Activity #2
You know that you've chosen the right side - this coming battle was one to end all. For that to be done properly preparation and scheming has to take place. As you trudge your way over to the Acropolis in hopes of planning your next move, you notice a worn-out sign with a freshly painted coat of ivory, spelling out the words “Building Alliances”. “Hmm.. what could that be about?” you asked yourself, pushing the golden door open in search of an answer. Members from the European Confederation gathered all around.. it was the perfect place to gather intel on anyone.

And so you knew…

Welcome to Myth's “Building Alliances” event!

Above everything else, there was one thing important about this war: finding out the root cause - something which after centuries of fighting, no one knows. What better place to start than getting closer to your allies and enemies? Your task is to find out something about each of your cabin members (favorite food, color, TV shows, genres, etc.)! You may ask anyone who is participating in SWC this session, just keep in my mind that you will be asking everyone the same question, so choose wisely! Each answer you receive is worth a number of points - if it's from a Mythian then it is worth 3 ingots, 2 ingots if it's someone from the European Confederation (sibling cabins: lyric, poetry, adventure) and 1 ingot for anyone else participating in SWC. Remember to keep track of the number of points you have - there are sure to be prizes for both your word count group and you!

Myth Answer: 3 ingots
European Confederation Answer: 2 ingots
SWC Answer: 1 ingot
Keep in mind proof will be asked at the end of this event, so screenshots or links should be kept track of! It is also preferred that you ask on someone’s profile, rather than in a studio!
