Video Essay About Glenn Quagmire
I'll just show off a rough draft of my project here.
Nobody realizes, but this means Quagmire can survive a nuke without much damage. This also means he's strong enough to rip atoms like nothing and can actually grab atoms. And remember, he isn't even supposed to be that strong, because the other characters can defeat Quagmire or Joe, so obviously he isn't using his full potential. But if that's not the case, then the characters in family guy are unbelievably strong, because basically everyone can beat Quagmire in a fight.
You see, the subtle meaning behind this odd yet charming idea is that it's saying Quagmire is immortal, and can perhaps be a demigod, or maybe god. I would personally say he's a demigod, as I've seen Brian defeat him from time to time, as Brian is his arch-nemesis. Now I can go on and on to ramble about this premise of Quagmire's immortality, and I will, because it's an interesting subject to me.
To start off, I'm struggling to comprehend the concept that a man in his 60's who eats a massively comprehensive amount of what I would say to be every carrot in Quahog to be a demigod. Although, it might be the demigod part that allows him to eat the carrots. What should I be able to say of the matter though? Quagmire's just one indestructible warrior after all. I can find that the red in his shirt may give some sort of rage enhancing ability.
Speaking of, I find it rightly confusing of how much power he draws from his clothing. Yellow, royalty, and a sense of being gold, a chosen one. Blue, an overall relaxed attitude, and as I have stated, his red may give him enhanced rage when he needs to express rage unto his opponents. Furthermore, to continue this subject of things he draws powers from and what powers it can give him, a part of what makes him such an ultra instinct demigod is his diet of carrots, which make him look a lot more youthful than he really is.
Speaking of youth, there's a family guy episode where it's 50 years in the future, and Quagmire is in his triple digits, and he looks like he's in his 50's, or maybe 60's. The whole episode within itself is a spectacle, but nonetheless, I need to talk about the current subject, Mister Glenn Quagmire himself and his current, past, and future abilities.
Henceforth, as I have said, I shall talk about Quagmire's such abilities, dissecting each little part of them. As I have guessed many times, there is symbolism in these traits. Quagmire is the embodiment of who we all want to be, A demigod who has all of the traits a human desires to express enhanced to unhuman levels of the true ultra instinct god among humans. Now, I must state some comments I have about how desirable his lack of caring about anyone else in the world, without some sort of guilt, can mean to people.
Stating the first facts that would come to my mind first, does Quagmire care about this essay? Does he wonder, fathom, about the complexity of it? Does he gasp in awe at the intelligence, or maybe in other individual's opinions, stupidity, of this essay? Will he ever think about how this marvelous, spectacular, show of humanity's feats, combined into a single scripture of text?
Shockingly, at least to me it is, Quagmire may actually care about this essay. He appears to be a very prideful, selfish figure, indulging delightfully into anything promoting his view, stance, or any other terms for it. Furthermore, it leads me to believe he actually would like this essay, text, passage, whatever oneself would like to call it. Onto another topic, Quagmire appears to show signs of stimming during the family guy episode that takes place during the future, shown here, where Quagmire states, “You know what's cool? Ice cream! Wanna go get a cup? Cone? Bowl?” And then he proceeds to go into detail about the ice cream in question, and how “They're all good.”
Lois and Peter also show signs of this odd stimming trend, talking about the same topic, ice cream. Lois starts saying, “Your father's had severe diabetes ever since they opened three ice cream stores in town.” And then Peter proceeds to say a witty remark in return, which is, “They're all good.” This obviously shows the blatant stimming hidden in the entire series of family guy, as the whole show gets very repetitive, almost as if the characters are stuck in a loop of chaos, perhaps for things they may have done in a previous life.
Onto the topic I was wishing to stay on for the entire essay, Quagmire has some amazing abilities I'd just like to compliment, as I envy his supernatural abilities, and possible flight powers. Quagmire also seems to be a master of disguise, as he can practically blend into any situation without being detected among a crowd. It really can just be too much to handle for some. In fact, I'll go on to say that he really should be a subject of envy for how awe-inspiring his feats are, including his youthful looks, his powers, etc.
Foreclosing this essay, Quagmire is just one interesting individual who can capture my mind and the minds of others and so on, and I mean, what other kind of person could cause an essay of this proportion over something as small as the subject matter? It's truly poetic in a way, as one of Quagmire's powers is how he captivates his audience, the world! He also can just absolutely demolish someone's ego, by the mere weight of his own ego. But in a way, people look on at his ego in envy, and how powerful it is, and how It can shape the world around him. People may say he's an entrepreneur in his field of stardom, and can morph the landscape of fellow gods, demigods, etc. around him.
My final words for this essay will be this and simply this.. Quagmire's a pretty stand up guy.
