we all know there are 2 tabs when you "explorE" in scratch. one for projects, one for studios. but why not add another tab for scratchers?

YES! This would make it so much easier to find Scratchers you like! Although you can just @ them on your profile then delete the comment, this would be so much easier!

I'm not entirely sure how the trending algorithm works, but I'm pretty sure it's based on how quickly a project or studio gains attention, such as loves, favorites, views, and followers. If this were to be applied to users, would the top Scratchers ranked by follower count be on the trending page perpetually? @griffpatch gains up to a thousand followers every day, so he would be at the #1 spot.

This is not a dupe. The suggestion is to have a trending page of users, not a search bar to find them. The current search bar already works for searching usernames.

I think you should reread the post too. The explore page is synonymous with trending. You won't find a specific project there, that's what the search bar is.

“exploring” doesn't sepcifically mean the explore page, I would believe they mean the tabs in the search page (projects/studios)

"exploring
thats an action, not a location, if you solely call going on the explore page ”exploring", then, like, i have nothing to say, you use weird vocabularies but sure

Searching with the search bar. Remixing with the remix button. Even googling with Google! All of these are examples of actions based on locations, because verbs can have a noun form. So, exploring with the explore page.

I think the title should be changed if you mean explore (they could just mean searching). If you mean to re-add it, then it’s a duplicate.

Yes I said re-add.

Scratch is supposed to be about projects, not people, according to the Scratch Team. It doesn't seem likely to be added.

Who makes the project? People. If you find a project you like, it's likely you'll be interested in checking out that user's other projects.
