Camp Name Ideas:
✧ SCC (Scratch Cooking Camp) (already used for Scratch Creativity Camp)
✧ COS (Chefs of Scratch)
✧ SWC (Scratchers Who Cook) *probably not this one, just an idea, it's the same abbreviation as scratch writing camp tho*
✧ Camp Kitchen
✧ SAK (Scratchers and Kitchens)
✧ SBC (Scratch Baking Camp)

Session Time:
April
(camper signups would be in March, leader apps in February)
(annual) backups: July

(weekly & daily changes will be coordinated with UTC time)

Cabin Name Ideas:
# of cabins: 4 or 5 (depending on # of hosts)
each of us hosts, hosts 1 cabin along with 1 leader and 1 co-leader

note:
Will be doing weeklies and dailies, additionally everyone will have minute goals.

theme ideas:
✧ condiments (mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, wasabi, soy sauce, ranch)
✧ spices (pepper, salt, cinnamon, chili powder, tumeric, saffron)
✧ kitchen tools (spatula, whisk, frying pan, measuring spoons, napkin, rolling pin)

✧ what's your favorite letter in the alphabet? make a dish that starts with that letter (ex: fav letter is ‘L’, make a dish using lettuce)
✧ make a dish with your favorite animal's diet (ex: fav animal panda, spicy bamboo shoots)
✧ choose a word from the list, find ingredients that start w/ each letter in that word, use those ingredients to make a dish (ex: acorn -> apple, corn, orange, raspberries, nuts -> fruit salad?)
✧ choose a condiment, make a dish from it
✧ ask a friend/family member their favorite dish, write a recipe for it or make that dish
✧ create a drink
✧ imagine hosting your favorite character at your home, what would you serve them? make a menu or draw the dishes for it

:00 yeah that's a great idea! let me add that to the ideas, that would make a great daily! I was thinking like maybe making deserts and stuff as well as well as trying to cook food from other cultures and with unique ingredients as well?

oki, how many cabins should we have for this came and cabin name ideas?

I was thinking maybe 6 cabins each of us could lead 4/6 cabins with another co-leader. So in total, we would need 8 additional leaders
or
we could have 4 cabins each of use leading one and a co-leader, hopefully people will apply to be co-leader.

and for points, should we use something else? spatulas? any kitchen utensil, depending on the cabin associated with it? if we do decide to do different cultures of food, then it could be a spice necessary to that type of cooking/baking, etc.

glad you like it!! whisks for baking.. spatulas? tongs? for cooking? air frying; oven mitts, spatulas could work.. i like camp kitchen, as it portrays cooking, baking, practically everything in the kitchen. what other cabin names should we use, though? we need at least 4

i got an idea:

ingredients(randomly generated; different each time) are gotten from mc contests, dailies and weeklies if we - i mean you're - having them, and if you have enough of each item, you can make a dish. e.g.: “for today's daily, do blah blah blah. you will recieve 5 randomly-generated vegetables, 6 single-use pots, and 10 salt shakers.” or something like that????

Woah- amazing Pinky <33 I suggest we should have 4 cabins : the hosts leading each cabin. We will have co-leader applications, and just in case a host cannot commit to a month, we can also have a leader. We won't need the back-up months in that case, or as we are still discussing about our coding camp, we could host that. (I know it'd be too much, but I really don't want to give that idea up)

This is in a way, quite both. We are still discussing about everything, and we are in talks of another camp as well, so we never know what may happen!

Only three though, but that's just to give you a heads up. no worries! i can help with it ) i can spread the word, but if it's in april, we should've made (co)leader apps in the beginning of february.. unless we won't do it this year?
