I think Scratch 4.0 should have a feature where you can add video clips, that would be really useful for things such as trailers for games, where Scratchers could insert some gameplay. Also, I have an idea for a block, I don't know if anyone else wants this block but I certainly do, it would be “Wait (Number or text insert) Seconds or Until (Boolean insert)”

Scratch 4.0 isn’t in development yet. Scratch 3 isn’t done yet. But the clips idea sounds pretty good.

Would this be a workaround?


Edit: also put stop other scripts in sprite after both blocks in message1 LOL, for some reason my mind didn't.

Scratch 4.0 ain't coming out anytime soon (or never). There will be updates to 3.0 though.

Yeah no, they only guessed 2025 because 2019 - 2013 = 6 (the difference between the release of 2.0 and 3.0), and 2013 - 2007 = 6 (the difference between the release of 1.0 and 2.0). I really doubt it anyway, it took 2+ years for the studio page to update.
